The preparations for the 2. Packaging Valley Makeathon from November 09th to 10th, 2021 are in the final round. The organizers Packaging Valley Germany e.V. (PV), Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart und der ITQ GmbH are expecting around 70 students and technology-minded participants from various universities and cities. The 2. Packaging Valley Makeathon will take place decentrally at eight locations in a team size of 4-6 people in order to comply with the current safety regulations due to the corona pandemic. The groups and participants are connected to each other via collaboration tools and video conference systems.
During the two-day MAKEATHON the participants will work on challenges of the 8 MAKEATHON partners Harro Höfliger, MOSCA, Syntegon, Optima, VDC, Zebra Engineering, Kimoknow and Kempten University of Applied Sciences. The partners involved are companies from the Packaging Industry and Research Institutes. The topics range from sustainability issues to innovative solutions for digital and efficient processes. The two days bring a lot to the company, but also to the participants: Interesting insights into company processes, new perspectives, new contacts, one foot in the door and helping to shape the future!
