On December 6, 2017 ITQ received this year´s State Teaching Award together with Aalen University and South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences for their commitment in the field of Industry 4.0. The prize was handed over by Baden Wurttemberg´s Minister for Research, Theresia Bauer, at Neues Schloss Stuttgart during a ceremonial presentation.
The Institute CV&CI (Computer Science, Vision and Computational Intelligence) of South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences has acted as cooperation as well as conceptual partner for the lecture series Industry 4.0. ITQ GmbH was awarded for the engagement of CEO Dr. Stetter who has supervised the Development and Execution of the Make Light Makeathon during the Laser World of Photonics Trade Fair at the end of June 2017. Prof. Peter Eichinger and Prof. Bernhard Höfig (both Aalen University) have linked the involvements mentioned as well as successfully applied as university teachers of Baden Wurttemberg State.
